Verdi's rarely performed opera Attila rounds out our Verdian year. The thrilling and difficult work was written for his wife, and was her final curtain call. the story is based on the Volsunga saga a contended version where history rewrites itself with an Italian woman defeating Attila the Hun. We will never know, but is good to have the heroine live to see another day!

Celebrate the bicenteial of Verdi's birth in a fabulous concert of soprano - baritone duets with Elizabeth Lewis Celeste, soprano, Andrew Greenwood, Baritone and introducing Dr. Antoine Joubert, piano. Tickets
